After a great period of natural snowfall and stable night frosts, we’re excited to announce that all 14 of our slopes will remain open through Easter (9 groomed / 5 off-piste). We have plenty of snow and excellent conditions, and we warmly welcome you to Easter skiing in Narvik!

April 11-13, during the Palm Sunday weekend, the children's ski race "Barnas World Cup" will take place at Narvikfjellet. How will this event affect you as a guest?

Friday:
The First Slope will be closed all day for preparations and race activities. However, Lift 1 will remain open for all guests.

Saturday:
The Second Slope and First Slope will be closed for race activities between 10:00 AM and 2:30 PM. Parts of the Family Slope will also be closed from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM.

All lifts will remain open for guests throughout the weekend, and there will be controlled snow release on the flat area near Asbjørnstua during the races.

Sunday:
The resort will open at 11:00 AM this Sunday, once the speed race is completed. This means the entire resort will be available for all guests from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

The old chairlift that runs from the Upper Cable Car Station to Linken is not in operation this season. As part of extensive infrastructure development for the 2029 Alpine Ski World Championships, the lift will be replaced with a new, modern 6-seat chairlift during the summer and fall of 2025. If everything goes according to plan, the new chairlift will be ready for the 2025/2026 season.
